He was accredited as a Site Auditor in New South Wales in 1998, and was one of the first auditors accredited after Section 4 of the Contaminated Land Management Act was proclaimed. He was last re-appointed, for a period of three years, in July 2002.

In the Australian Capital Territory, he is accredited under the provisions of the Environment Protection Act. He has recognition in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
