A series of groundwater studies were undertaken in Northern Oman for the Omani Government and the government-owned Oman Mining Company. These included:

Feasibility study for a water supply to Bilad Bani bu Ali
Appraisal of alluvial aquifers.

Water Resources for Agriculture
A survey of a number of alluvial aquifers in northern Oman to assess the resources available for irrigated agriculture.

Sur Water Supply
Investigations to locate a groundwater supply for a large provincial town

Geophysical Surveys
An assessment of existing well performance and available water resources, followed by geophysical surveys to locate new wells

Sohar Copper Project
Water resources and environmental impact assessment for three new copper mines.

Services Rendered
As senior hydrogeologist Chris Jewell was responsible for implementing all aspects of the projects, including geophysical surveys, well siting, drilling supervision, logging pump testing and report preparation.
